Saturday, March 25 at noon there will be a rally: People For Free Press! The group will meet at the Bryant Park Library and march to the offices of the New York Times. See info HERE.
I can’t join them on site, but decided to do a reportage-inspired illustration to mark the event.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Our First Amendment rights are sacred to our democracy, and I’m standing with the people of the rally today in spirit!
