If you happen to be in Jackson Heights, Queens this month, you can stop by The Queensboro restaurant to see an exhibit of a selection of my reportage illustration, both from NYC and further afield. Included in the exhibit is this pen and ink drawing of Travers Park from the neighborhood.
While you’re there, you can also enjoy some good food and cocktails, and purchase a $10 raffle ticket with a chance to win a framed original drawing I made of the Union Square Farmer’s Market. All proceeds go to fund the Jackson Heights Community Refrigerator, to benefit the food insecure residents of the area.
The Queensboro is at 80-02 Northern Blvd. in Queens, NY.
