Life Drawing Symposium this June!

So excited to be teaching this workshop on Color and Form as well as one called The Figure in Motion at a new event happening soon – The Life Drawing Symposium!

A three day event about all things drawing, cooked up by illustrator/educator Melanie Reim and myself as we strolled through the Egon Schiele exhibit in Paris this past January; we have a dream to bring the kind of study of the figure that informs our work to a larger audience. Studio 1482 member illustrator and Dalvero Academy co-founder Margaret Hurst joins our crew, and together the three of us will offer workshops in all areas of drawing – calligraphy, marks, motion, color, form, portraits, light and shadow, and much more.

If you like the idea of a totally immersive drawing experience that will leave you exhausted, exhilarated, and begging for more, this is your event! :)

The Life Drawing Symposium will be held this June 6 – 9, 2019 at the Crowne Plaza in White Plains, NY, about a half hour drive (or MTA ride) from NYC. Registration is still open and there are a few spots left – visit our website for more information, and to register. Hope to see you there!
